We all had a great time watching the kids run at the North Port High School meet. We were very proud of them. As you can see from some of the pictures they had to run through the mud!

The Blazers had a great start to season at the Venice High School Invitational at Oscar Scherer State Park on Saturday morning. The team of 19 runners has trained hard over the last five weeks, strengthening their Christian attitude along with their speed and endurance. PRs (personal record) were achieved by both veterans and rookies on the dry, sandy course. Coach Murphy did a great job of getting everyone prepared for the new season.
