For anyone who just can’t get enough of cross country video the Little Everglades races are available online at www.flrunners.com See the two screenshots below. At the flrunners home page click on Prestate Live Video Coverage (first screenshot). Click on the spot where it says “Click here to watch.” After the video viewer loads and a 20 second commercial plays click on the menu button in the bottom right corner of the viewer. You should see the image in the second screenshot below. Select the Saturday Pre-State 2009 video (3 hours 49 minutes). The key areas that I found are at the following times in the 3hr 49 min video (note you can fast forward by sliding the bar at the bottom of the video):
1:25 – start of small school girls race
1:32-34 – most girls at first lap
1:37-1:40 – most girls at 2 mile (best shots)
1:43 – Abby coming up to finish (then camera moves to another race)
2:06 – start of small school boys race
2:25-2:28 – all of the boys at finish line

Saturday 10-03-09 the team competed at Mcintosh Middle School, hosted by Riverview High School. TJ Gannon, previous team member was home for the weekend to cheer the team and little brother Mitch on. They all had a great time and as usual we were very proud of our kids. Once again it was a very hot and humid, but they perservered!
Our school is one of the few that share their faith openly. Before each race the kids pray together. I am very proud of their willingness to be open in front of the other kids and their parents. The faith that they have now will follow them long beyond the paths they are runnng on now. Thanks kids for your example.
